Chris Leahy is a government affairs leader and strategist with nearly three decades of experience shaping policy and driving outcomes for Fortune 500 companies including Intuit, Bayer, Peabody Energy, and Volkswagen across technology, energy, life sciences, and transportation.
As Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Intuit, Chris led global strategy for government relations, advocacy, policy, and strategic philanthropy—positioning the company as a partner to U.S. and international policymakers on innovation and regulation.
At Bayer, he served as Head of Government Relations and Policy, advancing priorities for the company's Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health, and Crop Science divisions while navigating complex legislative and regulatory environments.
His earlier Capitol Hill experience—including Majority Policy Coordinator and Senior Counsel for the House Energy and Commerce Committee—combined with private sector leadership at Peabody Energy and Volkswagen, gives him insight across both policy and business.
Chris serves on the boards of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Meridian Center, The Congressional Award, Washington Ireland Program, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
